    Q: Who are the Catholic Daughters of the Americas?
A:
Founded in 1903, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a national organization of Catholic women dedicated to bringing Christ’s light to others through their kind words, acts and deeds. Our Mission Statement is “Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.” Using our motto, Unity and Charity, we hold events to raise money to support our many charities. The CDA engage in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world.For more information at the National level, please visit www.catholicdaughters.org.

   Q: Who can become a member?
A: Any Catholic women 18 years or older can join the CDA. Children ages 8-18 can join the Junior Catholic Daughters (JCDA) of the Americas.

    Q: Is there a cost to join?
A: As with many organizations, a yearly membership fee is charged. Local courts vote on the amount of the dues for their own court. Average dues is $20. Our dues helps to finance the court’s various activities, and pays for National & State Court dues as well as liability insurance..

    Q: Do the Catholic Daughters endorse a political party?
A: No. Although members are active in legislation through legislative alerts, actions and comments are given as constituents, not as CDA members. The CDA does not endorse any political party.

   Q: How do I find a meeting?
A: You may click here to contact the MA State Court please include your name and area. Someone will contact you with the location of a Court near you. Be sure to remove the word REMOVEME from the Webmaster email address (this is a spam/virus protection device) before sending your message.

    Q: Why doesn't my court have anything on the webpage?
A: If you have submitted something for the webpage and do not see it, please contact the
Webmaster.

    Q: What can I send in to be placed on my court's webpage?
A: Listings of upcoming events and photographs are examples of what can be placed on the webpage. Please be sure to discuss this with your court and your Regent prior to sending it to the Webmaster.

Q: How can I send things to put them up in my court's webpage?
A: Email pictures or documents to the Webmaster with a note. PLEASE NOTE: when emailing, please be sure to delete the “REMOVEME” in the email line before sending your email. This is a spam and virus protection device. Every email link on the site has a REMOVEME line.

If you do not have email, you may mail them to the Webmaster. Contact your Regent for the mailing address. If you send pictures through the mail and you would like them returned, please indicate this on the note and they will be returned after they have been scanned.

    Q: Does it cost anything?
A: There is no charge to place things on the webpage.
