Programs

The Massachusetts CDA follows the Circle of Love program as outlined by our National Office.

As explained by our National Office, “The image above is symbolic of our CIRCLE OF LOVE program. By definition, a circle is a curved line with every point equally distance from the point in the center and bound together by the common interest. The seven point program of the CIRCLE OF LOVE is bound together by the common interest- LOVE. “  Within each “spoke” of the COL are programs and suggestions that National provides as a means of focus for local Courts when deciding on projects – Spirituality, Leadership, Youth, Legislation, Quality of Life, Education, and National Projects - as they set their goals for the coming year.  At the center of the spokes is the cross and crown, our symbol of our Order.

At the local level, each individual Court determines what their project will be for the year during planning meetings.  These can be baby showers, penny sales, March for Life, bake sales, membership drives, pot luck suppers, visiting nursing homes, collecting of articles for our servicemen and women, blanket drives, etc.
